Canadian Thanksgiving is actually more of a European tradition than an American one. Even before our pilgrims landed Europeans celebrated the October harvests. The first Thanksgiving in North American actually occurred in 1578 in Newfoundland when Marin Frobisher an English explorer landed there.
New this year-- Matt has taken a course on carving so Jim had to hand over the knife. No Lisa, so are holiday crafts and spirit where lacking. No apple or pumpkin picking this year. Lisa we need you there!
Year year Sippel traditions continued-- a lot of blue, sticky buns, a lot of stories, a lot of laughs, and a lot of picking on Faith. Some things never change
