Well construction has begun on the house. We are expecting dirt, we are expecting chaos, we are expecting mom to become quite crabby as the project proceeds. We were not expecting Niagara Falls to relocate to our family room, and we surely were not planning to have a worker come visit us via the ceiling. Unfortunately things do not always go as planned. The old roof was removed, and that night we had torrential rains. We woke to the poor puppy crying because his crate was water logged as was the rest of the family room. Paul and I moved furniture at 2am, put out at least 6 buckets/pots to collect the rain, and went to bed an hour before the school alarms clocks went off. As we did homework 2 days later, there is a crash, a clatter. We rush to see what is the matter, it is not an early Santa, only a wayword workers leg findings it way into the family room! The kids are convinced the house will fall down around us, they would like to stop the project now, I am with them!
